The two were nominated after a rigorous selection process by the organizers who had to travel across the continent to pick the most-listened-to DJs from a tall list.

DJ Black of Joy FM is the other Ghanaian DJ on the list, making Ghana stand tall with the highest number of winners on the show.

The other top celebrity radio DJ's on the list include DJ Ike from Nigeria who topped the list, DJ Fresh from the Republic of South Africa, Gaetano from Kenya, Toolz from Nigeria, Fareed from Kenya, Owen Rampa from Botswana and Chishala Chotishi from Zambia.

Sammy Forson hosts the Myd-Morning Show on YFM. Sammy Forson treats listeners every weekday from 9am to midday to a spicy variety of music on the Myd-Morning Show and brings to the show a lot of charm, warmth and a unique ability to mix music tastefully, Sammy Forson's selection by Studio 53 Extra as one of the best DJs in Africa is not surprising since he was bound to be recognized world-wide soon. He also hosts Xposure on e.tv Ghana every Saturday at 7:30pm

Next week on Studio 53 Extra, Sammy Forson will be featured showing his skill at YFM studios at the Accra Mall.
