Lagos Court grants Akingbola Bail For N500 Million

A Lagos High Court presided over by Justice Mohammed Idris, has granted Erastus Akingbola, the former Managing Director, Intercontinental Bank bail for the amount of N500 Million.

Erastus Akingbola was sacked by the central bank in 2009 after which he escaped to England to avoid Prosectution for allegation of graft and money laundering and mismanaging the lender in the run-up to last year's N620 billion sector-wide bailout.. He returned back to Nigeria last month.
