Netflix Cancels Meghan Markle's Animation Series

Due to economic concerns, Netflix has reportedly canceled Meghan Markle production of her upcoming animation series.

The streaming channel announced last summer that The Duchess of Sussex was teaming up with them on a series with the working title, Pearl.

Archewell Productions in a statement wrote: “Archewell Productions today announced that it is developing a new animated series for Netflix.

"Created by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, Pearl (working title) will be a family series that centers on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl, who is inspired by a variety of influential women in history."

40year old, Markle was earlier married to American film producer, Trevor Engelson. She retired from acting upon her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018 and became known as the Duchess of Sussex.
