Erica Discloses Battling Anxiety In Penultimate Episode Of Mtv Base Inside Life With Erica
On the penultimate episode of MTV Base Inside Life with Erica, on DStv Channel 322 and GOtv Channel 72, we get to see a more vulnerable side of the Star girl as she strives to fulfil her lifelong dream of impacting the younger generation while managing the highs and lows that accompany celebrity life.
Following up with her partnership plans for her newly launched NGO, Erica pays a visit to a dear friend, Otto Orondaam, Founder of Slum2School Africa. Otto takes Erica to the virtual classroom, where she admonishes young teenagers to find their purpose and follow their dreams.
Moving on in the episode, Erica makes a stop at the home of legendary producer, Don Jazzy! Being relatively new to fame, Erica was in need of advice on how to make the most of the spotlight while keeping her mental health in check.
"Being in the public eye has made me anxious - obviously it's not as bad as when I first came out of the Big Brother house. I had full blown anxiety in that period but now it comes and goes. Now, I am just trying to find a balance in my life", she said.

Relating to this phase of celebrity life, Don Jazzy shared his story of when he entered the entertainment industry, revealing that people thought he was a drug dealer - and even worse, a murderer. In his words, "People judge you by their attitudes or how they would have behaved if they were in your shoes".
It appears Erica still has some more challenges to deal with, as her cousin drops the news that the launch of her skincare line will be delayed for two whole months!
