What was your childhood like?
I was born in Lagos. Things were rosy for my parents. I travelled to Egypt thinking that it was going to continue that way as a kid, but later things changed. Above all,
I thank God for my life and his grace.

You are one of the Nollywood stars who are making waves, how did your journey into the industry begin?
It's a long story, I just found myself doing it and today I thank God as I'm doing well for myself.

What were you doing before venturing into the make believe industry?
I was in school but I've always wanted to be an entertainment person. I had to stop and give priority to my education first, but right now I'm into full time acting.

Do you have stage experience?
Yes I've done a lot of stage plays. I did a stage play called Nana Olomu. It was a stage at the university of Lagos some years back, I also acted along with Jim Iyke and others. In fact, I have stamina for stage.

How will you differentiate between movie production and stage experience?
Stage actually is spiritual. It gives you an edge performance on television, especially when you have experience in both. For people like us who they say have a camera-face, but is not! It's about bringing out the real thing out of you, it's though, it's more tasking but it brings out the best in you. Sometimes when you watch some of our actors who have been on stage, you will see that they do better than the ones who have not been on stage; it propels you to be more real and flexible.

What's your view about Nollywood?
Nollywood is growing wider and faster everyday. It's reaching out to the world at large. We are putting our best actors, producers, marketers and directors forward. But we still need to put in more love, power and money. We want the government to be part of Nollywood. It will bring out the image of Nigeria in a unique way. Private parties should also invest in it.

How many years have you put in Nollywood?
It's over six years; I'm yet to see a hardened and challenging role.

How religious are you?
Talking about God does not make anyone religious, but I have discovered that there is something between God and me, so I've decided to emulate and embrace Him in my own way.

Who is your role model?
My role model is Malcom X.

What are the qualities you want in your wife to be?
It's God who really gives a wife, you could want this and that but it's God who knows the best and gives the best. My kind of woman must be God fearing, tolerant and most especially hard working. She must be my helper and lover.
She must have a vision ahead of me.

How do you cope with your female admirers/fans?
It's all about understanding but I always cope with them.

What are your hobbies?
I love music, swimming, and spending my time with God.

What is your philosophy of life?
My philosophy of life is love people as you love yourself.

How do you cope with stardom?
Be yourself and you won't have any problems with stardom.

Where do you see yourself in two years?
I'm going to be far and wide and above all I'm going to be Great.

Message to your fans and admirers?
They should keep away from drugs and show love to some body.
