What looks like war of rivalry is about to occur in the entertainment industry in Nigeria between the popular West African Idols' show and a team of young men who are projecting to host the first-of-its-kind Football Reality TV Show tagged The Skillz Factory.
Skillz Factory is a project poised to showcase the talents of young boys that are very skilful in the round leather game called football but are hidden in various parts of the nation due to one circumstance or the other.

What are the criteria to be part of this novel show? One of the directors of the event, Victor Osioh, a Digital Arts & Video Production graduate of Thames University who came all the way from the United Kingdom for this course explains 'all that is required from these potential stars is an inbuilt love and desirable skill in football, they have to be under 18 and must be physically fit to be part of the show, which will be aired on local and cable stations throughout the federation.'

The football show, which kicks off in May, will have the skilful players rigorously screened from three zones, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos. The three- stage selection process, will, at the end of the second screening, shortlist the best skilful players that will tussle for supremacy under a roof at an undisclosed camp for 21 days.
The eventual winners will not only have international recognition but will become professional footballers abroad courtesy English Premiership and Coca-Cola Football League.

In a recent chat with the Technical Director, Ruscoe Philip Balogun who studied Fine Arts from YabaTech and presently running a program at Ife College of Technology in Business Administration, he informed the media on the need for reputable organisations to support this dream. 'Sponsors are already all over us but, you know, this is an internationally recognised project whose viewership will spread across the globe. We are right now in the process of selecting the would-be-sponsors.' He affirmed.

The idea of Skillz Factory, according to Godfrey, one of the enviable hands in the project, a shrewd businessman in London, “is borne out of the definition of its name. Lots of Nigerian youths who are skilful are hidden in the hollow due to one instance or the other. The aim of Skillz Factory is to find these talents and groom them to realise their potentials in life' He concluded.
Meanwhile, forms are sold for a token in all branches of Oceanic Bank all in Nigeria.
