Jesse King a.k.a. Buga, has allegedly been physically assaulted by a member of his management team known as Moshood Adegbenro. Entertainment Cafe learnt that trouble started when the members of True Talents Records Africa, (TTRA), the company that discovered Buga, wanted a review of the contract signed with the marketer of the album, Afeezco Films and Records International, owned by Afeez Salami. The management of the company had accused Buga of being loyal to Afeez Salami and that he has been frustrating attempts to review the contract.
It was gathered that the fast rising artiste was allegedly attacked during a meeting by Adegbenro to the extent that he had a black eye. Speaking on the issue, Jesse King said that he was surprised that he could be assaulted over a minor disagreement. “It was Afeezco that rescued me after being abandoned for four years by TTRA. Now that I am making waves, they want a review.” He said that Afeezco also spent close to N4 million on the video of his album and N200,000 on his wardrobe. As at the time of going to the press, none of the directors of TTRA could be reached for comments. Jesse King shot to limelight with the album entitled Buga.
