They call her Queen Bey for a reason.
Beyoncé, who is pregnant with twins, delivered a whimsical performance, taking cues from religious imagery at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Beginning the performance in front of a video screen, a bedazzled Bey, 35, wore an opulent headpiece as she sashayed across the stage to a voice-over.

“Do you remember being born?” it began. “You look nothing like your mother, everything like your mother, you desperately want to look like her …”

Beyoncé's own mother, Tina, introduced her medley of “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles” from her “Lemonade” album, which Tidal called a “conceptual project based on every woman's journey of self knowledge and healing.”

The singer announced she is expecting twins via her Instagram account on February 1.

“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,” she captioned a photo of herself, clad in lingerie, holding her pregnant belly. “We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.”

The announcement is now the most liked Instagram post of all time with over 10.2 million likes.

Jay Z and Beyoncé have been married since 2008 and already parents to daughter Blue Ivy, 5.

Next, Beyoncé is slated to headline the Coachella festival in Indio, Calif., in April.
