I’m not dead---Genevieve Nnaji

Contrary to the rumour flying around that Nigeria's screen goddess Genevieve Nnaji has translated to the greater beyond of assassins, Genny is still alive and kicking.
Currently in the studios, where work is going on on her music video for her forthcoming album, the Mbaise-born actress has reacted to the rumour.
Speaking to Nollywood in a telephone conversation, she screamed, 'Adia, I am alive oh!

People, why will they not let me rest, ehn? I am busy trying to get my musical career on track, and here are my detractors acting the fool with their belated April Fool jokes”.

When asked if she was in the country or in Ghana, where she is even more popular than at home, the diminutive actress parried the question. “I am okay, very fine and very alive. When I am ready for the press, you, Adia, will be the first to know”.

On the purported rumour that she had something to do with the Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, she said, “Why will Nigerians not bother themselves with bigger problems and leave little Genevieve alone? I do not know the Vice- President, not to talk of dating or having dated him”.
She said her album would be big, very big, when it is ready.
