The Ministry of Education and UNICEF Zambia will conduct a lesson for children aged 8 — 14 years about the new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) due to be adopted by the UN General Assembly on 25 September.

Across the country, the World's Largest Lesson will be held in classrooms in all 10 provinces of Zambia during the week from 28 September 2015. A potential 5,000 girls and boys in Zambia and 500 million worldwide between the ages of 8 and 14 in Zambia will have the chance to learn about the Global Goals, which range from ending extreme poverty for all people everywhere, to tackling climate change, and giving all children the opportunity to gain a quality primary and secondary education.
