Former NSA, Dasuki Arraigned Over Illegal Possession Of Firearms, Gets Bail On Self-Recognition

SAN FRANCISCO, September 01, (THEWILL) – Former National Security Adviser (NSA), retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki, was Tuesday morning arraigned on a single count of illegal possession of firearms before a Federal court in Abuja by the State Security Service (SSS).

Dasuki entered a not guilty plea when the charge was read to him and was subsequently granted bail on self-recognition after his lawyer, Mr. Joseph Daudu, SAN, appealed to presiding judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola for bail.

Justice Ademola also ordered Dasuki to deposit his international travel passport with the Deputy Registrar, Litigation of the court and fixed October 26, 2015 for further action on the suit.
