Nollywood actress, Grace Amah, is not a new name in the Nigerian movie industry as she has been there for about a decade now and she seems not relenting in her efforts to continue to make a mark in the industry.

In a recent interview, the actress recalling her journey into the make believe industry, stated that she went into acting while she was awaiting her jamb result after she had walked into a popular celebrity hangout and met with a popular actress.

The actress stated that getting a role in her first movie was not comfortable for her parents has they had wanted her to be a medical doctor or lawyer.

She explained that after several attempts to study law at the university, she wasn't making head and had to stop because she was not able to concentrate.

“My parents were not favourably disposed to my going into the acting world. They preferred I was a medical doctor or lawyer and I made attempts to read law but the urge for the acting profession did not allow me concentrate. However, my parents have come to embrace and support my career choice and they are happy with the outcome. It is only natural that parents would react negatively to things they do not understand but when they see the positive dividends of such work, they will appreciate and give their support,” she told Dailytimes.
