Imo Deputy Gov. Hails Re-election Of Femi Adesina

Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has hailed the re-election of Mr. Femi Adesina as the President, Nigeria Guild of Editors.

He described the Managing Director of the Sun Publishing Limited re-election as most deserving considering his impactful leadership since his emergence as the body's steer man.

In a release signed by the Special Assistant, Media, to the number two citizen of Imo State, Uche Onwuchekwa, Prince Madumere showered encomium on the number one Nigerian Editor for his forthrightness, sincerity of purpose, high standard and professionalism.

He also commended members of the Guild for their putting up a electioneering process that is fair and credible, which gave room for the re-emergence Mr. Femi Adesina unopposed and emergence of other new leaders who are to join him to pilot the affairs of "Guild" towards respectable Media Management in all facts of Media.

The Imo State All Progressives Congress Deputy Governor-Elect called on the President of the body to use his second coming to ensure there is compliance to the ethics, ethos and Code of Conduct guiding the practice of journalism and its members.

He therefore charged the President-Elect of the Nigeria Guild of Editors to remain courageous is his choice of a narrow and thorny path, while ensuring a sustainable and appreciable Fourth Estate of the Realm that will create atmosphere of justice, fairness while setting Agenda that help uplift Nigeria.
