Nigeria's gospel music world was thrown into mourning when the death of 'Branama' crooner was announced on June 12, 2014. the energetic singer died of lung failure in Los Angeles after going into coma for a reported 14 days.

On Thursday, February 5, 2015, the late singer's husband, Teddy Don Momoh, organised an album launch in respect of the singer, inviting family, friends and colleagues tagged 'An Evening With Kefee' at the Daystar Christian Centre, Lagos.

One of the celebrities at the event was rap artiste, Vector, who paid glowing tribute to her for being an instant personality that anyone would readily fall in love with.

"Tonight is all about Kefee. She is the Queen. I remember when we were in the studio working on the 'I Believe' song, she was always calling my name and that was the first time I was working with her. She kept calling my name through the work process."

Ifeanyi Orji Henry aka Henrisoul, an alternative gospel act, said, "I didn't get to be close to her until we did the I believe song. She had an awesome personality. "
