It is a general knowledge that come Saturday, February 14, 2015, all Nigerians are expected to come our enmasse to decide who would govern them for the next four years.

However, popular comedian, Basket and other top music stars won't be available to exercise their fundamental rights.

This is a coming as result of the Basket mouth's unveiling of posters of himself and other stars like Wizkid and Olamide as headliners of a Valentine show in London, England on February 14, 2015.

With this, the artistes have come under heavy fire from their fans who are clearly not happy with them, especially Basket who fixed the show on that very important day in Nigeria.

The fans argued that Basketmouth should be a role model and shouldn't fix a show for a date that clashes with the 2015 presidential election.

In his defence, Basketmouth has come out to say he didn't start hosting the show last year or this year, informing fans about the origin of the show in a recent tweet.

'Every Valentines' Day for the past 6 years, Basketmouth Uncensored UK has held, had I known 6 years ago that the General election would hold on Valentines day in 2015, I wouldn't have signed the Franchise. Home is where the heart belongs, God Bless Nigeria,' he wrote.
