CAPTAIN IHENACHO TASKS IMO INVESTORS ON MASSIVE JOB CREATION THROUGH INDUSTRIALIZATION.

The APGA governorship hopeful in the 2015 imo governorship race following his recent endorsement by the State Working Committee of the party in the state and the former Minister of Interior, Hon. Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho has called on captains of industry in Imo state to address squarely the urgent task of creating jobs for the teeming youths of the state through the setting up of industries in our various communities.

Hon ..Captain Ihenacho stated this in his address to the mammoth crowd that gathered at Ihioma Central School in Orlu local government area to mark the 2014 Ihioma Clan Day. The annual cultural event brings together the five (5) autonomous communities- Ihioma ancient kingdom, Okwuabala, Umuezenachi, Nnenetor and Isiokwu- that were created out of the former Ihioma town. Captain Ihenacho commended the people for sustaining the peace and unity in the clan despite the creation of 5 autonomous communities from the clan unlike in other areas where such an exercise has bred strife and disharmony. He urged other communities to learn from the people of Ihioma Clan the tenets of peaceful co-existence.

The international merchant mariner and business mogul in the oil and gas sector commended the Ihioma sons for setting up over 20 manufacturing industries in various parts of the country which provide gainful employment for thousands of youths. He asserted that job creation through industrialization was the prime motive for his opting to contest the 2015 Imo governorship. He pointed out that if the vision of Governor Mbakwe who established 34 industries in 4 years had been sustained by the succeeding administrations in the state, Imo state would be counting over 200 industries by now.

Captain Ihenacho concluded by assuring them that he would provide the enabling environment such as power and good road network, and cueing into several federal government agricultural and industrial development initiatives to enable them relocate their industrial concerns to Imo state and establish new ones to absorb over 200 thousand Imo youths who now roam the streets all over the country in search of jobs.

Earlier the chairman of the 2014 Ihioma Clan Day celebration, Chief Barr. Charles Ifeanyi Mbama had thanked Captain Ihenacho for the singular humility he demonstrated by responding to the invitation only extended to him the situation prevailing in the governance of Imo state for over a decade now would be properly addressed.

Present at the occasion were Hon Jerry Alagboso –Member of the House of Representatives, the five (5) Royal Fathers from Ihioma Clan, Eze Stephen N Okeke, Eze Richard Akanihu Obioha, Eze Mark Ndugba, Eze C.S.O Okafor and Eze John O. Nwosu, among many other distinguished personalities from the Clan, political aspirants for various elective positions, friends and well wishers including notable in-laws of Ihioma from Anambra state. Donations were equally made to raise funds for the execution of development projects in the Clan.
