Governor Obiano takes over as APGA leader

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has unanimously approved the appointment of the Anambra State Governor, Chief (Dr) Wllie Obiano as the Leader and Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the party to replace the former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi who decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

The party’s NEC also approved the guidelinesĀ for the conduct of its primaries to select candidates for the elections as was released by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party on October 21st,2014.

In a communique signed by the APGA National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh and made available to Journalists on Tuesday in Abuja the party stated that pursuant to the mandate given on January 18th,2014 by the National Executive Committee to the National Working Committee fill existing vacancies in the NWC the NEC also appointed Bar. Alexander Amujiogu as the Acting Deputy National Secretary of the party.
