Critics slam D’Banj’s DB record

D'banj.
DB Records owned by D'banj is going through one of its most difficult phases. The label, which is yet to prove itself in the entertainment industry is said to have fallen a notch lower with the recent signing of Poko Queen, Tonto Dikeh.

Since news of the deal between D'banj and Dikeh hit town, music aficionados have been criticising it, with the Koko Master and his label mates turning a laughing stock among their colleagues, even as music fans wonder what the new act on the block will bring on board.

Some of the questions trailing Dikeh's signing include what she has to offer the label, what she has achieved for D'banj to identify with her among others.

The general conclusion which a lot of people have reached is that if Dikeh fails to achieve anything as a DB Record artiste, she would have succeeded in giving the label a First Lady.
