Human Rights Report: 12 Million To Each Participant In The On-Going Nigerian National Conference (500 X 12 Million Naira): Goodluck Jonathan Is Wasting Nigeria

What criteria were used to select the people? Even if the people were duely elected, should they be given N12 million Naira? Do you know what is N12 million Naira for each person? How can you even give that to people selected on undefined criteria? The people there are ALWAYS the same people over the years. What change have they brought to Nigeria?

The Nigerian youths loiter streets looking for non-existent jobs. Yet, Jonathan has the effrontery to share 12 million naira to each participant, all or almost all of them are the looters of the national or state or local government treasury at one time or the other. Each graduate in Nigeria could be given N1 million or even N2m each to start any genuine small scale business to help himself out. In that way, poverty would reduce in Nigeria. How can you share N12 million to people who by nature are swindlers of the nation?

What if the National Conference holds without giving any kobo to each participant? What will happen? Is National Conference not a National Call? Why should money be attached when you want to find solution to your problem that is causing you millions of money waste already? Where is patriotism in what Goodluck Jonathan is doing?

The truth is that Goodluck Jonathan is Laundering his image for re-election in 2015 and he is willing to squander any amount to realize this. Now the delegates are talking of monetizing housing, feeding and transportation. For the benefit of doubt let every Nigerian know that the 12 million does not include housing, feeding and transportation. And now they are demanding money for each of them. That shows you what they are there for: collecting money for their stomach and not for the interest of Nigeria.
