#Where Is OurMoney: What Fela Kuti Tells Us

As Nigerian youth all over the world protest the nation's missing oil billions, if I may be forgiven, I will like to recommend we all listen to this song and read the lyrics, of 'Army Arrangement,' by late Sage Fela Anikulapo Kuti. It serves as a reminder and prompts us on the dangerous déjà vu and ground-hog day path we are upon. These are the predictable steps after the Whistleblower is fired:

Lyrics: Army Arrangement (Fela Kuti and Egypt 80, courtesy, Afrobeatmusic.net )

Whether you like or you no like

after you hear this true talk

if you like e good

CHORUS: Ge ge

if you no like you hang

CHORUS: Ge ge

if you hang you go die

CHORUS: Ge ge

you go die for nothing

CHORUS: Ge ge

you go carry your body go police station

you die e wrongfully

CHORUS: Ge ge, Ge Ge, Ge (Repeat verse)

Man dey suffer him no fit talk na condition
