Some years ago, top Nigerian vocalist, DJinee stole the hearts of many music buffs in the country with his 'angelic' voice, which could easily melt the heart of a lady.

His 'Ego' track back then became a toast of many and was highly demanded by callers of various radio programmes in the country at that time. At Valentine's Day's shows, DJinee was mostly the preferred artiste called to serenade lovers' with his cool tunes, but that seem to have become a thing of the past.

In recent times, the singer has struggled to lure the highly 'volatile' music buffs to his side. The rise of some up and coming acts in the industry has pushed the handsome singer aside as most show promoters now prefer the young chaps to DJinee.

As a way of winning himself back into the consciousness of many music lovers, the Edo State-born vocalist ventured into the 'pangolo' (Yoruba word for Tin) style of music, which is mostly loved by Nigerians, when he featured Muna Abii in a song entitled On Me.

The single didn't do the magic DJinee had expected as after few airplays, it went down further. Since the singer left his former manager, his profile has remained low in the media.

His absence from the scene is now becoming worrisome to some of his fans who are asking if this is now the end of DJinee's music career. They have consistently asked, “where is DJinee?”
