CHAN 2014: Mark praises Eagles ….. tasks team to be focus


President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has praised the resilence spirit of the Nigeria representatives at the CHAN 2014, holding in South Africa, charging the Eagles to be more focus and come home with the trophy.

Speaking after the 3-1 win over the host, Bafana-Bafana of South Africa on Sunday, Senator Mark commended the team and its handlers saying qualifying for the qauter final in the tournament still pose lots of challenges on the parts of the team thereby called for determinations in their subsequent matches.

He assured the Eagles of the Federal Government backing and prayers from all Nigerians which he said will lead the team to a glorious outing.

The Senate President on his parts stressed that the National Assembly is solidly behind the Stephen Keshi's led team and will do everything possible to ensure that Nigeria did not lack behind in the game of football in the African continent and world at large.

Senator Mark however called on well meaning Nigerians and Institutions to come out and encourage the Eagles in the quest to rule Africa again in the game of football.
