FCO updates travel advice on Somalia

LONDON, United-Kingdom, April 15, 2013/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- FCO updates travel advice, warning of continuing terrorist threat in Mogadishu.

An FCO spokesperson said:

“FCO travel advice for Somalia has been updated. Our advice makes clear that there continues to be a high threat from terrorism in Somalia. We continue to believe that terrorists are in the final stages of planning attacks in Mogadishu. Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in crowded places, at high-profile events, events involving government officials or in places frequented by foreigners.

“We advise against all travel to all parts of Somalia.”
