Should I Confess?

I have been in a long distance relationship for the past six years with a guy I am absolutely crazy about. He works in Canada and has plans of coming down for our marriage next year after which I will join him.

A friend of his invited me out to a party recently and we had great fun. I guess I took a drink too many and so did my partner. To cut a long story short, we ended up in his apartment and he made love to me.

We both felt very guilty after that and I couldn't even look him in the face.

I'm wondering if I should tell my boyfriend about it because I feel so guilty and don't know what to do. Please help me.

Dear Natasha, how could you get yourself into such a mess? Well, I guess this is not the time for blame but you should not have gotten yourself into this shameful act in the first place.

The truth is, you will surely lose your boyfriend if he gets to know about it so just keep your mouth shut and live with your guilt because once you tell him, he will never trust you again and that might be the end of the road for this relationship.

Do be careful next time around and make sure it doesn't happen again.
