Election Dismiss CPC's Petition, Upholds Jonathan's Election

SAN FRANCISCO, November 01, (THEWILL) – The Presidential Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja has dismissed the petition filed by the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) challenging the victory of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PCP) for lack of merit.

The tribunal therefore upheld the victory of President Jonathan saying the election was conducted according to stipulated guidelines.
