MEET FAISAL ABUBARKAR THE RICHARD BRANSON OF NIGERIA

Having being inspired by British Billionaire Richard Branson, upward mobile and unassuming entrepreneur, Faisal Abubakar from an early age made up his mind to build a brand in the mould of his mentor- a fun brand. While some of his age mates were struggling on which direction to go, Abubakar, fresh from the Buckingham University began a company in 2003 called Fastina UK Limited. His aim is to provide services in any sector.

Though, he was turned down by a major bank to build residential houses for sale together with his partners at that time, Ibrahim Gambo and Dayo Bakare in Abuja but with perseverance, they were able to take on government projects which were usually funded and expanded their core business because of their technical know how skill.The Managing Director of Manola Jackson added that the only thing his company care about is delivery , soloutions and concepts.

'We believe however you dress to get the actual work done is totally up to you. Realizing his dreams gradually, he has delved into livestock farming with his elder brother while creating various IT solutions , and are in the process of expanding, and providing real-user friendly solutions to make the day to day life of working and managing both personal and business life easier in West Africa. The young chief executive is working in partnership with various firms in providing these services such as CME a UK, a Nigeria Based company as well as a major South African firm.

In entertainment, the indigene of Taraba State is working very closely with Play Entertainment and Penguin which belongs to Dayo Bakare to contribute his own quota in the multi billion emerging industry. 'We intend to go into TV and radio and several other related ventures.

We are determined to make this a reality, and we believe the benefits to Nigeria will be enormous both in terms of revenue and employment.' Recently Manolo Jackson was in mambilla in Taraba state with his foreign partners to invest in the hospital and tourism industry, among others. With the way this young man is moving, the country is bound to witness the Richard Branson of Nigeria, the soonest time possible.
