OGUN STATE SETS TO HOST GATEWAY CARNIVAL

Otumba Gbenga Daniel led administration and her formidable team are putting every machinery in place to host the unique concept of fun tagged OGUN STATE CARNIVAL.

The Ogun State Capital, Abeokuta , will be hosting the first ever Gateway carnival in a grand style before the end of next month. The event which is put together by the government of Ogun State and facilitated by Palm-Beach Entertainment of Abiodun Durosinmi Etti is a first of its kind in the state and is going to be a celebration of culture and heritage of the State. Already the government of the state has pledged its full support for the event, while the state ministry for tourism is actively thrown their weight behind the event.

Various activities have been lined up for the event which include live performances, beauty pageant, and colourful display of regalia. “The state hosted the biggest and the brightest games during the tenure of Governor Gbenga Daniels, we want to make sure that we host an event as big as that to celebrate the people of the State. As you know the Ogun people are peculiar people and are known to hold their own anywhere.

Thank God that the governor is giving us his full support, we expect to make the event the next best thing after the games”, said Mr, Abiodun Durosinmi Etti, a facilitator to the event.

Another facilitator to the event, Mrs Abiola Alawoya commented on the support the event has been getting. “It's time for corporate bodies to take advantage of this event as you can see from our preparations, it is going to me a massive event, and a lot can be gained by being a part of the event. Already, some corporate bodies have shown interest, but we also want major companies to brand the event.
This will make the event more solid, while they (supporters) will have a lot to gain as well.” Abiola said.
