Governors paid President Jonathan Presidential Nomination Fees

In a show on their unalloyed support, People's Democratic Party, PDP, Governors paid the N11 Million Presidential nomination fees.

The PDP governors stated this at the Eagle Square venue of president Jonathan's Presidential bid declaration the president of their decision after accompanying him from Eagle Square, venue of his declaration, commended the president for his decision to engage in issue based campaign.

According to PDP the sum of N1million is for expression of interest and N10 million for its presidential nomination form.

Presidential spokesman, Mr Ima Niboro, described the gesture as a rare show of massive support for the candidacy of President Jonathan.

He said: “In a gesture of massive support for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's candidacy in next year's Presidential elections, governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) announced Saturday at the

Presidential Villa that they have paid for the President's nomination form forthe PDP presidential primaries”.

“The Governors who accompanied President Jonathan back to the Presidential Villa after the declaration of his candidacy at Eagle Square applauded his decision to seek a fresh term of office and his promise of an issues-based campaign”.
