Today’s Christian Devotion 12-03-2021

Mark 7:13 _ “making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

Lord Jesus, you rebuked the Pharisees because they abandoned the Word of God for their traditions. I see the same playing in the church all around me today, help me to choose your word above every tradition, because traditions may change but your word stands forever. It is your words that can give life, not the traditions of men.

Help me to focus on your word and open my eyes that I may see wondrous things out of your Word, in the mighty name of Jesus, amen. The Bible is your written word, anytime I read it, send your holy spirit to interpret it to me that I may follow after the spirit and not after the flesh.

In your word is your will revealed, and you said that only those who do your will shall enter into your Kingdom (Matthew 7:21) help me to do your word which are your will as I read the Bible that I may be a doer of the word and not just a hearer, in Jesus mighty name, amen. Don't forget God when it's well with you
