By the time you finish reading this, the handsome and highly talented music icon, Tim Godfrey who was one of the active forces behind the success of Sammy Okposo's albums may have been through with the planning of his carnival-like album launch for his maiden effort titled 'My Diary'.
The sensational gospel music artiste, Tim and his unbeatable Xtreme Crew that have worked concertedly to come out with such a beautiful package, in a few weeks time, will be hosting the first-of-its-kind concert prior to their album launch.

The Anambra born 30 something years old dynamic music promoter and multi-instrumentalist, Tim, the leader of the band, is an unpredictable music icon that is spiritually influenced by Kirk Franklin of America. Little wonder, the preview of his first album, according to some industry watchers, is considered to be one of the best products ever comes out of Nigeria.
Come 1st April, 2007, the formidable band, De Xtreme Crew will be bringing revolution to African gospel Music as they stage a concert tagged Sound Check. The concert is slated to hold at the Lighted Church Hall, Morrison Crescent Off Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Lagos.

Artistes billed to perform include; Mike Aremu, Segun Obe, Bouqui, Aniete Ezeimo. Other appearances are, Yinka Davies, Tosin Martins, Infinity Boys, Soji Israel etc.
Tim Godfrey and D Xtreme Band, for those who don't know, was nominated, shortly after their single in 2005, by AMEN Awards, that nomination actually open several doors of opportunity for them as they became a toast of every Christian assembly home and abroad and they performed at the 2005 KORA and Ghana Music Awards 2006.Thereafter, they toured five States in America e.g. New York, Houston, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Atlanta in June 2006.

Meanwhile, immediately after this much-awaited concert, I learnt that Tim would be embarking on a trip to Europe where he's going to sign some vital documents that will give his 'My Diary' album international recognition.
“I have to jet out immediately after Easter Celebration to Europe for a serious meeting with some foreign partners who so much believe in this project. A few copies of my maiden work I sent to the United Kingdom and South Africa have really made an effect as I have been invited over for a talk,” the undaunted but very humble Tim Godfrey explained.
