By Tom Garba, Yola

The suspended lawmaker, Hon Abdulrahaman Abubakar, representing Mubi South Constituency in Adamawa House of Assembly under the platform of APC has denied claimed that Governor Jibrilla Bindow was responsible for his travails.

Abubakar in a statement said that his three months suspension by the house of assembly was purely a legislative matter that has nothing to do with the executive.

Abubakar explained that earlier claimed by him that the governor who came from the same constituency with him was after his him was made in error and he regretted any embarrassment the weighty allegation might have caused the governor.

"What happened when I made that allegation can best be described as an unfortunate action in a moment of anger over my suspension by the house" , Abubakar said

He reiterated his commitment to rule of law and respect for the governor as leader of the party in the state.

"I also want to commend the governor for the roads, hospital, school and market projects in Mubi and to say that the people of my constituency have never had it so good." Abubakar said.

He commended the people of his constituency for their support and concern over his suspension and urged them to continue to have faith in God that things would normalize very soon.
