Imo State Government House, Owerri Press Release Jude Ejiogu Charges Contestants Of Mr. & Miss Imo Students Pageantry On Hard Work

By Onuoha Noel Ikenna

Chief of Staff Government House, Sir Jude Ejiogu has called on the contestants of Mr. & Miss Imo Students Pageantry to be of good conduct by presenting themselves in such a manner that will dignify the state, advising them to shun any act capable of tarnishing their God's given talents.

Sir Ejiogu made this appeal while receiving the group who called on him in his office; he therefore charged them to be hard-working so as to be successful in life, pointing out that there is no shortcut to success.

He described their boldness to contest the position as an act of hard work, assuring them that the state government would not forget to reward any Imo student who conducts his/herself in a manner that would project the reputation of the state to the outside world in good light.

Speaking, leader of the delegation and Executive Assistant to the Governor on Students Affairs, Hon. G.T.C Samuel said that he decided to bring the contestants to the Chief of Staff, to seek his fatherly counseling on the need for hard work in order to be successful in life.

He commended Sir Ejiogu for his youth friendly disposition which he said, has propelled them to remain steadfast in fighting for every good thing in life, inviting him to witness the grand finale of the competition in Owerri.

He therefore admonished participants on decorum and decency, saying that the possible winner of the contest would embark on students’ leadership sensitization campaign geared towards empowering interested youths on fashion and other relevant professions.
