Gov. Imoke Appoints 10 New Special Advisers, Three Special Assistants

SAN FRANCISCO, January 14, (THEWILL) – The Cross River State Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke Tuesday approved the appointment of 10 new Special Advisers.

According to a statement signed by Mr. Christian Ita, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the new appointees are; Mr. Ken Egbas, Mr. Gerald Adah, Mrs. Margaret Ebokpo, Mr. Edward Ogon, Prof. Osam Edim Temple,Mr. Godwin Assam Efa, Elder Simon Ntino, Mr. Boniface Archibong, Ntufam Edet Okon Asim and Ntufam Joseph Ekpe Edet.

In a related development, Governor Imoke has also approved the appointment of three new Special Assistants.

The appointees are; Mr. Maurice Ekong, Special Assistant (Political): Mr. Christopher Ekpenyong, Special Assistant (Special Duties) and Dr. Uke Enun, Special Assistant (Events Management).

By this appointment, Mr. Ekong replaces Emmanuel Ironbar, while Ekpenyong and Enun replace Ekeng Henshaw and Totsman Etorti, respectively.

The statement directed the sacked Special Assistants, to immediately handover all government property, including official vehicles in their possession to the office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
