EKITI PEOPLE WILL NOT REGRET VOTING ME AS A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

The problem we have in Nigeria is that we believe that some things are too far away to touch us and that is why I have always clamoured for what I called the citizen's charter, where the interest and the rights of the weakest in our links are protected. The life of every Nigerian- young or old, man or woman, strong or weak, in the North or South should count for something. I want a situation in Nigeria where someone is kidnapped and the FG will deploy troops to save just that one life. A simple life in Nigeria is important to me!

As part of my citizen's charter, I will push the Nigeria Social Security Bill for the aged, people living with disabilities and vulnerables.

One of the most critical things to me is to see how we can get provision of more local governments within Ado and Irepodun/Ifelodun, simply because they (the two LGAs) are just too large from the institutional point of view.

From my experience as former Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Ekiti State will need about N12b for erosion control. If voted as a legislator, I shall ensure that there is enough provision for erosion control, using my influence as an Honourable member of the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly and with the effective supervisory role of the House of Representatives on the Ecology funds due to Ekiti State.

My Constituency Project will be determined and enjoyed by everybody in my Federal Constituency and not just a selected few.
