PDP Guber aspirants in S/East undergo screening in Enugu

Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirants in the South East on Saturday appeared before a screening panel in Enugu, Enugu State.

The event, which held at the PDP South East zonal office and lasted for hours was attended by all the governorship aspirants in Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi and Abia states.

Imo State had the largest number of aspirants with about 18 gubernatorial hopefuls, including the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha.

Another member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who has been selected as the consensus candidate in Enugu also appeared before the panel alongside his rivals, including the chairman of the Senate Committee on Works, Senator Ayogu Eze, Chinedu Onuh, Anayo Onwuegbu and the Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Eugene Odo.

Like Enugu State, Abia State also has about six governorship aspirants.

Also the Ebonyi state aspirants with the Deputy Governor and others attended the screening exercise.
