Mark mourns Col. Onuka former Edo Milad

President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has described the death of former military administrator of Edo state Col. Mohammed Onuka as unfortunate and devastating.

Reacting to the death of the former Military Administrator in Abuja, Senator Mark noted that late Onuka was one of the finest artillery officers in the Nigerian Army.

According to Mark ” Col. Onuka was a very disciplined soldier, administrator and officer who stood to be counted when it mattered. His death at this time is regrettable, but we cannot question the will of the Almigthy creator”.

He condoled the government and people of Kogi state as well as Edo state for this painful loss but asked them to take solace in the fact that the late military officer lived an eventful life worthy of emulation.

His brother Alhaji Mukaila Inakakana  said Late Onuka who died in Abuja is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mariama Vangahun Onuka and five children.

He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
