Breaking News!!! A Royal Father Tells Akpabio the Truth

The Paramount Ruler of Itu Local Government Area has made it known to Akpabio that the Town Hall meetings organized by Akpabio throughout the entire 15 Federal Constituencies, is nothing but a political jamboree organized for the benefit of Akpabio.

In a live-streamed meeting held in Ibiono Ibom, which is still on as of this writing, the Royal Father told Akpabio: 'If it was in the North, an Emir would never be invited to come and sit here and participate in this type of discussion. The proper thing you could have done, would have been to consult us, the Royal Fathers. We would have told you what is going on in our various communities and then give you recommendations on the proper direction to go. We are all Ibibio. We, the Royal Fathers, are not the ones propagating ethnic divisions.' The Royal Father mentioned the deplorable road conditions in Itu area and blamed Godswill Akpabio for the poor condition of the roads. He further blamed Akpabio for not keeping the promise he made to the people of his area.

Despite all the propaganda about how well Akpabio's administration has built roads in Akwa Ibom, it is now manifesting that most of the road constructions are concentrated in Uyo metropolitan areas. Speaking at the occasion, a prominent women leader of the area, Mrs. Obonganwan Christiana Ekong, cited the examples of the deplorable and impassable road conditions in Itu area.

In his response, Godswill Akpabio, in his usual style, rambled on and on. He said it will take at least two years to fix the roads. The problem is, Akpabio has only 14 months to stay in office, which means his administration will never 'renovate' the roads.
