BEVERLY HILLS, CA, January 15, (THEWILL) -  For the second time in two days, the embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, has denied resigning his position as National Chairman of the party.

Several media reports on Wednesday had reported his resignation quoting an unnamed senior party official.

However, Tukur through his spokesman, Olivier Okpala denied the reports and insists that he is still in charge of the crisis ridden PDP.

Okpala told journalists that Tukur will be at today's Caucus meeting of the party as well as Thursday's NEC meeting.
