RES Partners Abbotts For Foundation Programme In South Africa

LAGOS October 07, 2013 – In a bid to simplify and support quality and affordable education for youths, Rainbow Educational Services (RES) through its partner, Abbotts College (Cape Town) is facilitating a one year foundation programme in South Africa for students in Nigeria. The partnership deal will see RES double as an educational consulting service and the sole representative of the college in West Africa.

A look at the foundation programme, showed an on-going registration process with Rainbow Educational Services for the 2014 academic year. There are several unique and affordable features tied to the programme which includes a monthly flexible and convenient payment structure covering – application fees, school and accommodation fees. RES also provides tailored support services to interested applicants which will aid the access to relevant information and professional guides on visas and payments structure.

During an interactive session with the media, Managing Director/CEO, Rainbow Educational Services (RES), Mr. Oyedotun Ibukun said “we have a mentorship programme in place which provides our organization with first-hand information on the progress of students and we can relate such to parents and guardians periodically.” Students from Nigeria have the opportunity to learn additional languages like German, Portuguese or French during the programme as part of the life orientation course which exposes them to best practises and cultural reality in the international world, Ibukun added.

RES team parades seasoned professionals with considerable wealth of experience in recruitment and management processes from the private and public sector. The team brings into play skills cutting across entrepreneurship, leadership capacity and business consultancy, chartered accountants, finance experts, engineers with members from the association of chartered insurers representing offices both in Pretoria, South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria.

While the Abbott College in South Africa is spread across six campuses in Claremont, Centurion, Century Gate, Northcliff, Pretoria East and Johannesburg South. It offers a combination of courses in agriculture, business, commerce and management studies, engineering and technology, human and social studies physical, mathematical, computer sciences and services as part of its subject for a bachelor degree admission.

In addition, Rainbow Educational Services offers a distance learning facility called UNISA for people who work in Nigeria but desire to earn a foreign qualification. And the process for A' level full-time studies, diploma, first and second degree holders with short courses for working class and staffs of corporate organizations are some of the other contributions to human capacity development in Nigeria.
