FCT High Court Stops PDP Special Convention

SAN FRANCISCO, July 25, (THEWILL) – Justice Suleiman Belgore of an Abuja High Court Thursday ordered the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to abort and refrain from proceeding with the conduct or convocation of any form of convention "whether special or ordinary," for the purpose of electing any officer pending the determination of a suit filed by some aggrieved party men.

Three members of the party, namely Abba Yale, Yahaya Sule and Bashir Maigudu had challenged the process of election of some former members of the party’s NWC after INEC had flagged and rejected their election.
