GTBank rewards undergraduate customers

Guaranty Trust Bank Plc has rewarded loyal customers of its card-based interest bearing undergraduate account called GTCrea8 e-savers Account.

A statement by the bank on Friday said the essence of the promo was to promote both a savings culture and increased adoption of the use of alternate banking channels among Nigerian students.

The bank said it planned to reward account holders every month from January to July with prizes in the monthly zonal draws.

According to the statement, six winners emerged from the third draw, which was held in Friday in Lagos.

The winners include Bemigbelu Bunmi, a student of the Lagos State Polytechnic, who won a Galaxy Tab in the Lagos region; Alonge Orekunle from University of the Abuja won a laptop from Abuja region, and Kelvin Joy won a BlackBerry phone for the South East Region.

Others are:  Ajiboye Tunde from Federal Polytechnic, Offa, who won a  LED TV for the South West region; Guv-Hart Joy from River State College of Arts & Science won a fridge; and Gambo Nafi'u won an iPod touch for the Northern region.

The bank said it was organising several events on campuses across the six geopolitical zones where students would have the opportunity of winning Nokia phones instantly.
