Everton forward Victor Anichebe was on target on Sunday as the Toffees defeated DC United 3-1 in a friendly match on their pre-season training tour of the United States of America.

The powerful Nigerian forward put Everton in the lead as early as the 4th minute as David Moyes' men cruised to an emphatic win.

Also on target was OB Odense in-form striker Peter Utaka, who helped his side earn a 2-2 draw at giants FC Copenhagen in the Danish topflight on Saturday. Copenhagen were cruising to a 2-1 win before Utaka popped up to sore the equalizer in the 63rd minute.

Fringe Super Eagles striker Peter Ijeh also scored a goal as Syrianska walloped Trelleborg 4-1 in the Swedish topflight, the Allsvenskan.

The 34-year-old, who scored the two goals that took Syrianska to Allsvenskan for the first time ever last season, hit target in the 27th minute for his side's third.

Ijeh, top scorer in Sweden in 2002 while at Malmo FF, also bagged a yellow in the 85th minute.

Earlier on Friday, new Dynamo Kiev signing hit a brace to help the Ukrainian champions to a 4-0 defeat of Obolon Kiev in the Premier Liga. The former Flying Eagles forward scored Dynamo's first and third goals in the 68th and 84th minutes.
