Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi has made it clear that only players fully committed to the club will remain part of his plans, insisting anyone unwilling to embrace the project is free to move on.

The Italian coach made the remarks ahead of Spurs' pre-season fixture against Auckland FC in New Zealand, as speculation continues over the future of young midfielder Lucas Bergvall.

De Zerbi emphasized that commitment and pride in representing Tottenham are essential qualities for every member of his squad.

According to him, players must be motivated each time they wear the club's shirt, adding that desire and determination often make the difference in modern football.

The manager noted that while Tottenham have already strengthened their squad significantly during the transfer window, competition for places will only become more intense.
