Transfer: Trabzonspor Eye Move for Super Eagles Star Chukwueze
Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor are reportedly considering a move for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze as they continue strengthening their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Super Eagles star recently returned to AC Milan after completing a season-long loan spell at Premier League club Fulham.
Despite delivering some encouraging performances, Fulham opted not to trigger the clause that would have made his stay at Craven Cottage permanent.
During his time in England, Chukwueze made 23 league appearances, contributing three goals and four assists while helping Fulham finish comfortably in mid-table.
According to reports from Turkey, Trabzonspor have identified the 27-year-old as a priority attacking target. The club is said to be prepared to submit a bid worth around €15 million.
Another option under consideration is an initial loan agreement with an obligation to buy at the end of the campaign.
Chukwueze joined AC Milan from Spanish side Villarreal in 2023 after impressing in La Liga. However, he has found it difficult to secure a regular place in the Rossoneri's starting lineup due to intense competition and inconsistent performances.
With Milan expected to reshape their squad this summer, the Serie A giants are believed to be willing to listen to suitable offers for the Nigerian international.
A transfer to Trabzonspor could provide Chukwueze with the opportunity to play regular first-team football again and rediscover the form that made him one of Nigeria's most exciting attacking talents during his spell in Spain.
