Done Deal: NK Bravo Sign Nigerian Midfielder Arinze James
Slovenian side NK Bravo have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Arinze James, marking an important step in the 20-year-old’s growing European career.
James has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027/28 season, with an additional one-year option included in the deal, signalling NK Bravo’s long-term belief in his potential.
The Nigerian talent arrives from Danish football, where he was previously part of FC Midtjylland’s system. During his time in Denmark, he developed through the club’s highly regarded academy structure and gained valuable experience in a competitive environment.
James stood out particularly at youth level, where he played a key role in helping Midtjylland secure consecutive Danish U19 Championship titles. His performances were praised for their creativity, technical control, and maturity in midfield.
Speaking after completing the move, James expressed excitement about beginning a new chapter in Slovenia.
He said he is eager to continue improving, work hard in training, and contribute positively to his new team’s ambitions.
NK Bravo are expected to integrate him gradually as he adapts to a new league and playing class, but the club views him as a player with strong long-term potential.
The move adds to the growing list of young Nigerian players making strides across European leagues, with James now aiming to establish himself at senior level and take the next step in his professional development in the Slovenian top flight.
