Nigeria National League Announces N10m Reward for Super 4 Winners

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has confirmed that the winners of the 2025/2026 Super 4 tournament will receive a cash prize of N10 million as part of efforts to boost competition and reward excellence in the league.

The announcement was made during the official draw ceremony held in Lagos on Friday, where details of the upcoming tournament were also outlined.

According to the league organisers, each of the four participating clubs will also receive N2 million as participation support.

The teams involved in this year’s Super 4 include Sporting Lagos, Inter Lagos, Doma United, and Ranchers Bees.

The mini-tournament is expected to decide the overall champion of the 2025/26 NNL season and further highlight the quality of clubs competing for promotion and recognition in Nigerian football.

The opening match of the competition is scheduled for Monday, May 4, with Sporting Lagos set to face Ranchers Bees in what is expected to be a tightly contested fixture. Later in the day, Doma United will lock horns with Inter Lagos in the second match of the opening round.

All matches will be played at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State, a venue that has recently hosted several major domestic football events and is regarded as one of the modern facilities in Nigerian football.

Officials from the NNL have described the Super 4 as an important platform for showcasing talent and increasing competitiveness among clubs seeking promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The league body also emphasized its commitment to improving the structure and reward system of the competition in order to encourage better performance and professionalism among participating teams.

As anticipation builds, fans are expected to look forward to an exciting contest as the four clubs battle not only for glory but also for the lucrative N10 million prize at stake.
