The Bayern Munich striker beat Lionel Messi this time to win the award.

Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy won the goalkeeper of the year award, while Thomas Tuchel was named the coach of the year.

Cristiano Ronaldo received FIFA's special award for his record-breaking feat in 2021.

Erik Lamela won the FIFA Puskas Award for his rabona goal against Arsenal while playing for Tottenham.
