Lille Receives €85M Bid For Super Eagles Star  Osimhen

Lille have received an €85m bid for young Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen, according to Telefoot.

The FIFA U17 World Cup Winner has attracted interests from several clubs in Europe after his impressive performances for Les Douges this season scoring 18 times in 38 matches.

The clubs include Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal. But according Telefoot, none of the mentioned clubs brought forward such heavy fee.

Lille President, Gerard Lopez, had earlier expressed fear about how hard it might be for the club to keep the Nigeria sensation.

“Osimhen will be in Lille next season. Afterwards, there are factors I cannot control, such as the fact that a club comes and offers a salary that is six or eight times more than we can offer.

“But I think it is sometimes better not to take a high salary and wait for the next season,” Lopez told French media.”

Osimhen has been linked with a big money move away from the French club owing to his eye-catching outings in the Ligue 1.
