Need For Unity Prayers Among Nigerian Pastors

With the current spate of bombings in worship centres and open market places in the North east has seriously called for great concern among Nigerian pastors. The recent handbook prophecies published by Primate Ayodele on the Nigeria leadership and other major issues needed to be taken seriously to avoid leadership rot in the country.

The issue of security challenge is beyond the power of President Mohammadu Buhari who initially promised Nigerians to dislodge Boko Haram menace in two weeks when elected but the case is different now.Boko Haram has graduated from just crowd bombings to suicide bombings which is vertically difficult to arrest the perpetrators. It has been alleged that suicide bombers are given paltry sum of #5000 to #2500 to take human lives randomly.

Since the emergence of this dreaded terrorists in the North east, over 40,000 people have been killed while property worth billions of naira destroyed. At this juncture, all Nigerian pastors both big and small must come together to pray for Nigerians than just prophesying on the weaknesses of President Buhari and others.

Well, Primate Ayodele needs to consider some militating factors that have previously hampered the progress of defeating Boko Haram insurgence in the North east. It is time for all Nigerian pastors to gather for violent prayers and fasting to curtain the menace.Boko Haram cannot be taken for granted like that than to put searchlight on the notorious suicide bombers. Terrorism is a world problem fighting world powers that Nigeria has become a victim of failed leadership.

However, top Nigerian pastors must come out from their comfort ministries to organise a combined crusade to prevent further killings of innocent Nigerians.

It has gone beyond religion than creating a terrorist nation for ineffective governance in the country. Boko Haram sects are not bigger than Nigeria but the sponsors must be brought to the book. President Buhari has abysmally failed to stop Boko Haram frequent attacks than fighting corruption with selective methods. Neither APC nor PDP can stop Boko Haram excepts God intervenes to save His children from nefarious killers.

The like minds of Bishop Leonard Umunna,Pastor Enoch Adeboye,Pastor Williams Kumuiyi,Tunde Bakare,Bishop Mike Okonkwo,Bishop David Oyedepo,Dr.D.K Olukoya and others should seek the face of God to stop Boko Haram perpetrators. It has gone beyond individual ministerial teachings and prayers but to save Nigerians from further calamities.Prof Yemi Osinbanjo,the Vice President of Nigeria must work hand in hand with top and low Nigerian pastors to pray against hi-tech insurgency.
