Christiano Ronaldo’s attempt to half Valencia’s lead was foiled by Diego Alves as Real Madrid eventually drew 2-2 at the Bernabeu.

The result means Barcelona are four points clear at the top of La Liga with two games remaining, as Real failed to force a late winner after coming from two behind.
